Exploration to Jonker Street, Malacca

23 of July, 2011. Saturday.
We had one day trip to Jonker Street, Malacca for our Digital Media 1 final project.
My objective here is to show things that we get, we do on Jonker Street and places around it.

~St Pauls Church~
Located at the top of St Pauls Hill.
Original fort built by Portuguese in year 1511.

~Main Entrance of Jonker Street~



~Hainanese Chicken Rice~
Located at front entrance of Jonker Street. Just beside the river.
A must-eat-food at Malacca. Not because of its chicken, is the SPECIAL RICE BALL.
*Reminder: Come early to avoid disappointment. Long Queue & Selling Fast.


~San Shu Gong~
Snacks, drinks, local products that you can give to others as gift.
Selling "Durian Cendol" that you might never try before.

*Reminder: You might need an umbrella when you walking on this street (seriously the weather is hot)


 ~Nyonya Nasi Pulut~

~Onei-onei~
You may found these "kuih-muih" along the Jonker Street.
Buy some and try, you won't regret ^^


~Jonker Hawker Center~

~ABC/Cendols~
I queue around 15minutes for it. Inside Jonker Hawker Center, a lots of nice foods that you can try.
*Reminder: Must queue to get your seat. No exemption.


~Jalan Tukang Emas~
A street that you might found something that you never see before.

 ~Metal Equipment Process~
Kinda old style process, but memorable.


~Red House Malacca~



~Jonker Satay (Pork)~
Located behind Jonker Street.
Highly recommended for Non-Halal people.
Soft meat with crispy outer layer.



~Capitol Satay Celup~
Also a-must-eat food at Malacca.
Steamboat style but with Satay Sauce.
*Reminder: Operation hour 5pm, please come before 5pm to avoid long queue.



 ~Nighttime life on Jonker Street~
Totally different with daytime.
But only on weekend.


 ~Sotong Bakar~
In English, we can called it Baked Cuttlefish. 
Nice but bit "smelly"

 ~Ding-ding Tang~
Old style sweet
Good to our throat

~Handicapped Calligrapher~
Tough & Strong will
She doing business by writing some words that you want

~Bing Tang Hu Lu~
Chinese Old Style Sweet, consider as snacks.
Something like nowadays Ice-Cream.

  1. Missing on the blog is the list of responsibilities. Also, where are the individual pages? You have not created individual pages for each member to show their progress with the project. Also, there is no progress of the assignment 3 or I could not find it in this blog.
